Frequently Asked Questions
Can I select which flowers I send?
No. part of the mystery is that you (and us), won't know what goes into the day's posy until each morning's visit to the flower market. Unlike a traditional florist, we curate just one style of posy using the freshest and cutest blooms available.
What if no-one is home to accept the delivery?
It's ok, we will find a shady and discreet place near the front door and always leave the flowers in water so they shouldn't wilt. If we can't find a discreet place we will try and phone you, so please leave us a phone number we can contact you on. A re-delivery charge of £5 will apply if we need to re-deliver.
What day's do you operate?
We operate a posy delivery service one day a week. For the next available delivery date, click here. You are more than welcome to order a posy in advance. For special orders, or corporate orders feel free to email or call us and we will do our best to help you out.
Do you do corporate flowers and plants?
Yes. We love working with local and international businesses. We offer plant installations in restaurants, cafes and offices and do weekly flower freshen ups in loads of cafes, pubs, hairdressers and shops around Belfast. Give us a buzz to see how we could help freshen up your business.
What areas do you deliver to?
At the moment best buds delivers to BT1 - BT18 inclusive. We are unable to deliver further at the moment however, if given a couple of days notice we may be able to deliver further afield for an additional cost. Email email@example.com for a quote.
Do you include a card with the posy delivery?
A card is included if required. There is a notes section on the cart page. If you would like a card delivered with the posy, please be sure to leave the message there. If no message is supplied, the posy will be delivered to the delivery address without a card. The card is locally designed by The First 47 and printed by McGowans.
Someone awesome has sent me some flowers. How do I keep them fresh?
Throw it in a water-filled vase as soon as you get it and remove any leaves that might be touching the water. This will help to keep the water fresh.
Trim the stems every couple of days, and cut them diagonally so as you are increasing the surface area of the stem.
In many of the posies, we put eucalyptus or some other type of long lasting foliage. Once the flowers have slowly died-off, don't throw the long lasting foliage out. Just transfer it to another vase, with a small amount of water in the base. This type of foliage will often last for at least a month, so be sure not to throw it out!
Every couple of days, change the water. Fresh water equals happy flowers!
